Welcome

Experiencing the Pacific Northwest

From its very beginnings, the building encapsulated Seattle’s pioneering spirit. Hotel Theodore opened as the Roosevelt Hotel in 1930, named after the 26th U.S. president, who’d visited Seattle in 1903. We continue to be inspired by Seattle’s long tradition of makers, builders and doers, as evidenced by our art collection curated in collaboration with the Museum of History & Industry. Atop the hotel you’ll still see the Roosevelt sign, an iconic Seattle landmark that remains an integral part of the cityscape and the area’s history.

Welcome to Hotel Theodore.
